Washington's ski resorts finally get some snow

If you still have a vacation day to burn before the end of the year, it might be a good time to hit the slopes.
Crystal Mountain received its best snow of the year Sunday night; nine inches had fallen by morning. More than 5,000 people took advantage of the fresh powder on Monday, which was Crystal's biggest day of the season so far.
The Summit at Snoqualmie reports two inches of new snow and Steven's Pass has four.
If you can't make it out there today, don't worry. There are a couple more storms in the forecast, which should produce new snow through next weekend.
KING-TV Meteorologist Jim Guy says snowfall by Tuesday night will be anywhere from four to ten inches in elevations higher than 3,000 feet.
