Virginia Rambus disappeared from her Skyway apartment in 1985 when she was 19 years old. Police believe there might be a link to a man who is already behind bars.
His name is Jesse Pratt and police say he called himself 'The Candy Man.'
"He definitely lived in the complex," explained Sgt. Cindi West with the King County Sheriff's Office. "Friends said he definitely knew her."
West says Pratt has a long history of violence against women and is currently serving a life sentence in Oregon for murder.
"He hasn't wanted to talk to us too much, so we're trying to find out if anyone has any further information," says West.
According to investigators, during the time of the disappearance Pratt had access to a yellow 1978 Cadillac Eldorado.
Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call King County Sheriff's office at 206.205.7810.
