Police said that the two boys and their father, Josh Powell, were killed when Powell apparently ignited a house with all three of them inside Sunday afternoon. The community is reeling from the aftermath of the horrendous act of "evil" in the death of Charles and Braden Powell, killed at the hands of their father.

The tragic story has captured the attention of the entire country. Outside eyes are providing different perspectives as we learn more about 'the how and the why' of the Graham house explosion.

The composure of Josh Powell just one week ago, according to ABC News, was "calm, relaxed, optimistic." Josh Powell had told ABC that he had been optimistic about the future and was looking forward to regaining custody of his children.

A few days later, Powell was again denied custody of his children and ordered to undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation.

What has many intrigued is the possibility that Josh Powell's young sons were starting to talk about the last time they saw their mother. Fox News leads with a question on many people's minds Monday, "Were murdered boys about to name dad as mom's killer?"

Leading with detail that the oldest boys had said his mom had been in the trunk of the family's car, both CBS News and MSNBC raised questions that Powell's actions might be linked to suspicions that his sons were aiding police in investigating Susan Cox Powell's disappearance.

Even Seattle's weeklies are weighing in on the tragic events. In The Stranger's daily news run-down, the news was labeled with a gut reaction, "Today in horrible pieces of s***." Although many, like the Pierce County Prosecutor, believe that Powell's final act was in itself a confession, the Seattle Weekly uses its front page headline to convict Josh Powell outright, saying "Susan Powell's Murder Case," instead of 'disappearance.'
