A jury in King County has convicted a Pennsylvania native for the 2009 murder of a high-priced escort in her Des Moines home.

Investigators say Jennifer Walstrand was stabbed 63 times then stomped on so hard that most of her teeth were knocked out. Prosecutors say she pleaded for her life as she lie in a pool of her blood.

The jury convicted Daniel Threadgill, 23, of first degree murder. Prosecutors say another prostitute was jealous of Walstrand's income and recruited Threadgill to kill Walstrand, 28.

The killing went unsolved for nine months until two fearful witnesses finally fingered Threadgill, who faces a minimum 30 years in prison.

A sentencing date has been set for March 23rd.
