Body found in burned car near Auburn

Mountain View Fire responded to a report of a car fire after 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Southeast 328th Street and Southeast Auburn Black Diamond Road.
Firefighters found the car engulfed in flames.
Sgt. Katie Larson said crews were able to put the fire out and when King County Sheriff fire investigators arrived on the scene, they located the body.
"When they get there and begin conducting their investigation, they find the burned remains of a body in the trunk of that car," said Larson
No other information about the body was immediately available, including gender, age or identity.
Larson said the King County Medical examiner is conducting an examination in attempts to determine the identity of the victim.
