Issaquah school bus driver charged with possessing child porn

Federal agents have arrested a part-time school bus driver from Carnation on federal child porn charges.

A Homeland Security agent tracked sexually explicit videos that were posted on a file sharing network to the man's home. A search warrant led to the arrest of Andrew Rekdahl on Thursday.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office says Rekdah is charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. He has since been released to the custody of his father.

The man was a part-time, on call bus driver for Issaquah Schools.

"Our main concern is that these alleged criminal behaviors did not spill over into and occur during any of our work times," said Sara Niegowski, spokeswoman with the Issaquah School District.

She said there were no complaints filed against Rekdahl and he cleared mandatory district background checks.

    To Be Honest,.......
I'd rather they be tracking Kiddie Rapists here at home than " The Boogie Man " in some desolate land on the other side of the earth. We have more to fear here at home.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS -
I actually agree with CH . ... And sort of also with kurt--- but only to the extent we do have 'more to fear here at home.' .. What we SHOULD fear is Homeland Security taking over from normal (legal) law enforcement.
