Car smashes into Sammamish Starbucks; three people injured

Three people were hurt when a car crashed into a Starbucks Monday afternoon in Sammamish.

The accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the Starbucks on 228th Ave S.E.

The driver told police her foot got caught between the gas and the brake pedal and she couldn't keep the car from smashing into the building.

Two people were treated at the scene and a third was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

    When you lose control, shift into neutral and set the emergency brake. But then most drivers in Washington don't remember how to merge onto a freeway, totally forget to use signals to change lanes and think a "stop" sign only means to come to a complete stop IF they see somebody coming.
