Police detain suspect in Belltown shooting

Gunfire broke out again on First Avenue in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood when a crowd gathered in a parking lot early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 2100 block of First Avenue South when a fight broke out in a parking lot.

A crowd had apparently gathered when someone started firing shots.

When officers arrived, they saw several individuals get into a parked car in an attempt to flee the scene. Police were able to chase down the vehicle successfully.

Six people were detained, including a 21-year-old man who was identified by witnesses as the gunman. He was arrested for investigation of a weapons violation.

No one was hit by the gunfire.

    Please tell me why
a gangster's first reaction is to shoot a weapon? I'm thinking that its because they are mostly cowards. I'm gonna tell you right now, if someone shoots me, it best be a kill shot. Otherwise the shooter will have to find a proctologist to retrieve their gun.

Just like the thuggery invaded Pioneer Square (think Mardi Gras murder)
So have they invaded Belltown (Tia Lou's seems like ground zero). The infection is spreading to Fremont and soon will hit Ballard. The good white people will keep searching for other places to go so they don't need to deal with the the thugs and gangs. Ah, multiculturalism - isn't it curious how the most liberal of places is almost pure white? Not in my backyard they say....just like the windmills.
