Vandals smash windows at several Seattle banks
on July 16, 2012 @ 3:43 am (Updated: 9:13 am - 7/16/12 )Seattle police are investigating vandalism at two separate Wells Fargo bank branches that left at least 12 windows smashed.
Police says at about 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, a person or people smashed out two large windows and the front doors of a Wells Fargo bank on Sandpoint Way NE.
Investigators say it appears the suspects used small rocks to break the glass.
About 90 minutes later, a vandal or vandals broke at least nine windows at another Wells Fargo bank in the 4000 block of E. Madison St. While a K-9 unit responded and attempted to track down a suspect, officers were unsuccessful.
Police say they have no suspect information and the investigation continues.
