The troll sculpture that lives under the Aurora Bridge is the subject of a new feature-length documentary film.
"Hall of Giants" tells the story of how the troll came to be and features interviews with its creators and community members that helped make the project a reality.
The troll made of steel, wire and two tons of ferroconcrete was built after the Fremont Arts Council was approached with the opportunity to fill the vacant space under the Aurora Bridge in 1989.
The film follows the story of what happened next and how the troll has evolved as a landmark in the community.
The film will premiere in a free all-ages event at Hale's Palladium on August 1.
