Officer involved in SeaTac shooting

The King County Sheriff's Office says a deputy fired shots Thursday morning when a suspected robber tried to attack an officer near SeaTac.

The deputy was reportedly headed to a robbery call at a Mosque near 150th Street and 30th Avenue South.

KING-5 reports deputies heard a car coming toward them when they arrived at the scene. A deputy fired at least one shot as the car moved closer and appeared to be aimed directly at them.

The suspect was reportedly hit in the shoulder before he ran into a neighbor's fence and flipped the car.

The suspect was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

This is a developing story.
