Weekend traffic guide: Several major highway closures

It might be a good idea to avoid a car ride this weekend, if you can.
The Washington State Department of Transportation will close several major highways for construction and the Seahawks will play Saturday night (7:00 p.m.) at CenturyLink Field.
WSDOT recommends giving yourself an hour of extra travel time or finding alternate routes.
Crews will close SR 167 in Renton and the 520 bridge will close Friday night and reopen Monday morning, Aug. 13.
SR 9 in Clearview will close Friday night and reopen Sunday morning, Aug. 12.
Crews also will demolish SR 520's Bellevue Way overpass and add new lanes at the SR 92-SR 9 intersection in Lake Stevens.
Seattle Department of Transportation crews will close the ramp to 85th Street from southbound I-5 for 17 days to pave, starting Friday, Aug. 10.
