Robber flees Ballard bank heist scene in Porsche
on September 11, 2012 @ 3:14 pm (Updated: 5:48 pm - 9/11/12 )He probably looked like an average bank robber when he walked into the Ballard bank, but he fled the scene in a Porsche.
The robber was wearing a black jacket and had his face covered when he entered the building. Police say the man held up the U.S. Bank at NW 61st Street and 15th Avenue NW in a "takeover style," telling everyone to get down on the ground.
The robber demanded money from the tellers and implied he had a gun.
The suspect is described as a white or Asian male, about 30 year old, 5' 8" to 5' 10", with a medium build and wearing a black jacket, jeans, face covering and sunglasses.
He fled the scene in a two-door black Porsche 944 Turbo hatchback.
