Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison to appear on VH1's 'Couples Therapy'

She grabbed headlines by marrying an actor almost three times her age, now Ocean Shores own Courtney Stodden is starring in her first TV show.

Stodden, 18, and her 52-year-old husband from the film "The Green Mile," Doug Hutchison, will now be part of VH1's "Couples Therapy."

This is the second season for the VH1 show. This season, five new couples will participate in intensive relationship therapy for 21 days.

Stodden and Hutchison will be joined by Real Housewives of New York cast members Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, R and B singer JoJo and his wife Tiny, rapper Too Short and girlfriend Monica Payne, and Shayne Lamas of the Bachelor and her husband, Nik Richie.

    because people watch (or at least they expect people to watch). What a complete waste of brain cells, time and energy. This is vaguely connected to why this country is going down the 5hitter.

    now reality telivision can be 100% real, just like her lol honestly though the only problem in the report is they gave her the wrong title. She isn't "Ocean Shores own Courtney Stodden" instead she is "The pride of Ocean Shores Courtney Stodden". hehe

    It's a bit humorous that some of you cite this as an example of how we are "going down the drain" - when this type of stuff has been going on for decades now.

    It isn't anything new. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

    I won't be watching it. I'm pretty sure my life will continue to go on like normal.
