The state has asked that Dinh N. Bowman, 30, be held without bail because he poses "a substantial likelihood of danger to the community."

Noll, 43, was stopped at a red light in the Roosevelt neighborhood when Bowman pulled up alongside him and opened fire, according to court documents. Noll suffered three gunshot wounds to the head and died at the scene.

The vehicle Bowman was driving would later prove to be a crucial piece of evidence in his arrest.

Tips from the public led police to Bowman's residence in the 7400 block of 25th Avenue Northeast, less than a mile from the crime scene. Homicide detectives executed a search warrant at the home Friday and seized a BMW Z-4 matching the description of the vehicle that fled the scene. A window and all four tires had been replaced. The vehicle also smelled like fresh paint, according to court documents.

Police also discovered multiple firearms at the home, but have not found the gun used to kill Noll, a 9mm.

Bowman is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 8.

Police released video footage shortly after the shooting:

....but in my opinion, that's some pretty well done police work. Nice job and it was done fairly quickly too!

It looks pretty bad for ole Ding Dong after reading the charging papers. Of course, they did find 12 idiots who found O.J. not guilty.
