Crash cleared at I-90 tunnel in Seattle

A collision inside the Mount Baker tunnel blocked two lanes of I-90 Wednesday morning causing a massive backup across the I-90 floating bridge amid the Seattle commute.
Officials were able to clear the incident by 9:13 a.m.

The incident caused a 5.5 mile backup across the bridge into Mercer Island and Bellevue. The Washington State Department of Transportation said that travel times on I-90 into Seattle were about an hour by 9 a.m.
An alternate route across the 520 floating bridge took about 28 minutes into Seattle at that time.
