The KIRO and ESPN teams were all strapped in and ready to go.
Thursday, Oct. 11 — A royal sighting
Producer Nicole didn’t let jet lag and 30 hours of being awake stop her from hitting the ground running when the gang landed in London. While soaking up famous sights such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace, she spotted a certain elegant lady being driven outside her palatial home.
Friday, Oct. 12 – Fun in a traditional British pub and chats with Seahawks
Our Show-and-Seahawks crews are having a lovely time in London! Great show planned for today – @PeteCarroll 12:30-1pm. Western WA man who had his truck torched because of Trump-bump sticker, and all the other news of the day – see you @ Noon Live from London @KIRORadio pic.twitter.com/M1ug0deqWr

The KIRO, ESPN, and Seahawks crews got together for a pint in a pub, as one does in Merry Olde England.

Dori got out on the field during practice to “have a lovely catch-up,” as the Brits say, with Seahawks running back Chris Carson.
Saturday, Oct. 13 – Exploring Piccadilly Circus
Said by every passerby today in Piccadilly Circus: “Eeww… who’s the creepy old guy with that attractive young woman” pic.twitter.com/124f2xmujv

Dori, Nicole, Dave Wyman, and the rest of the group got out and explored Piccadilly Circus, London’s equivalent of Times Square. They took advantage of good weather to have a pint outside.

They also had a typical English meal of fish and chips.
He may not be a fan of Sound Transit back in Seattle, but Dori and his old friend Paul Moyer became pros at using London’s subway and above-ground train system, known as the London Tube.

Sunday, Oct. 14 – Seahawks play at Wembley Stadium
The Seahawks played their big game against the Oakland Raiders at the iconic Wembley Stadium, and all hands were on deck to capture every moment.

All in all, they concluded that it was an amazing trip.
