A Kitsap County Superior Court judge dismissed a temporary protection order against Chimacum School Board Director Robert Bunker in a hearing on Thursday, according to the Peninsula Daily News.
Bunker’s wife filed a request for and was granted the restraining order on Oct. 24 on the claim that Bunker had allegedly stalked, harassed, and made threats against her and her loved ones. On Thursday however, she purportedly told the judge that she wanted the order dropped and felt safe without having it in place.
The Chimacum School District had previously asked Bunker to step down and maintained this request after the protection order was dropped.
Bunker was appointed to the board in 2013 and elected in 2015.
