Police said a vehicle driving northbound on the bridge crossed over the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling southbound around 6:30 a.m.

The northbound driver told police he fell asleep, according to KING 5.

The southbound driver was transported to a hospital for minor injuries. The vehicles were towed and the Seattle Department of Transportation cleaned the fluid from the road.

On Thursday, a Ride the Ducks vehicle collided into the side of a charter bus carrying students from North Seattle College. Five people were killed and dozens more injured. The Aurora Bridge was closed for about 12 hours during the investigation.
