Suspect in custody after Issaquah schools go into lockdown for gun report

Issaquah schools went into lockdown Wednesday morning after a gun was reported at Issaquah High School.
One suspect is in custody after Issaquah police investigated the report of a gun on campus.
The high school along with nearby Issaquah Middle School and Clark Elementary School were also placed on lockdown. Some high school students on buses were diverted to the middle school where they were sent to the gym.
The lockdowns began at 10:24 a.m. and were lifted at 11:03 a.m. According to the City of Issaquah “additional counselors have been sent to Issaquah High School if students need support” in the wake of the incident.
There have been no reports of shots fired at Issaquah High School or Issaquah Middle School.
