At 99 years young, World War II veteran Harold Whitish stopped by The Todd Herman Show on Thursday.
On the morning of Dec. 7, 1941, Whitish was on a guard ship escorting the U.S.S. Lexington aircraft carrier into Pearl Harbor.
Whitish was just 60 miles away from Pearl Harbor when bombs starting falling, and sat down with KTTH’s Todd Herman to talk about that fateful day, what being a WWII veteran means to him, and the worst injury he ever suffered.
