Pile-up collision blocks three lanes of SB I-5 south of Albro

A multi-car pile-up on southbound I-5 had the HOV lane and two general purpose lanes blocked Tuesday afternoon. As of 4:50 p.m., just the HOV lane remained blocked.

Three cars collided in the pile-up, with dispatch reporting at least one driver initially trapped in their vehicle.

Seattle Fire Department reported an adult male in critical condition transported to Harborview Medical Center.
