Snow bypasses Western Washington

Forecasters say a system moving in with snow will stay south of Western Washington. Some light snow is possible in Lewis County on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The region woke up to frigid temperatures and fog. Arlington reported 25 degrees, Olympia 28, Bellingham 32, JBLM 30, and Seattle 34.
Light snow fell across parts of the Puget Sound region on Sunday, mostly confined to Snohomish and Skagit Counties. However, reports of accumulation came in from parts of the south Sound as well, such as in Auburn and in Puyallup’s South Hill neighborhood.
