He’s one of the hottest recording artists in the U.S. right now and he was in Renton on Friday.
Not only is Kenny Chesney hanging out in town a day before his big show at CenturyLink Field, but he’s having fun with the Seahawks.
If you think his “tractor’s” sexy, it might even be more so in a helmet and blue spandex. The star suited up in Pete Carroll’s office and sent out a photo via Twitter. Then he took to the field at VMAC, donning signature green t-shirt and blue gloves.
Coach Carroll is clearly excited, Tweeting out nothing but Chesney songs for his popular Song of the Day posts: “Boys of Fall,” “I go back,” “Everybody wants to go to heaven,” and “Summertime.”
It’s not clear yet if Chesney took a hit on the field.
Carroll isn’t the only one starstruck, music industry website Pollstar reports Chesney sold 9.8 million tickets, grossing $608.6 million over the last 10 years.
That’s more than Springsteen.
