An endangered red wolf eyes visitors at the Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site in Charleston, S.C., on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. The historic site opened its new red wolf exhibit on Tuesday displaying four wolves brought to South Carolina from Trevor Zoo in Millbrook, N.Y. The animal forest at Charleston Towne Landing displays creatures that colonists in what became the Carolina Colony would have seen there when they settled the site in 1670. Later, red wolves were hunted almost to extinction and now only about 320 are thought to survive. (AP Photo/Bruce Smith)
