Bad boys? ‘Cops’ shown in Seattle during Denver lightning delay

Last night, Seahawks fans in Seattle shared in a collective television-watching experience. Not of the Seattle-Denver Super Bowl pre-season rematch. During a delay of game for lightning, 12s gathered together to watch a classic reality television show that’s been on the air for 25 years.
Anyone else stuck watching #Cops during this weather delay?

Yes! We are!
#SEAvsDEN in a lightnig delay, of course this is what the #Seahawks #12s want to watch… Smh #Cops pic.twitter.com/uRcUu98Ic7

It turns out the 12s enjoy “Cops” and some of them were watching it for the first time in a long time …
@lorenlo13 Hoping the game continues to get delayed. I’m hooked #COPS #seahawks #12s

When did #COPS become #COPSReloaded? #Seahawks #LightningDelay

Glad we got to see the end of the foot chase. Didn't want to be left in suspense. #cops #Seahawks

I think I'd rather watch #COPS than the announcers. #SEAvDEN #GoHawks

Some people were just annoyed.
What the heck happened to the @Seahawks–@Broncos game, @Q13FOX? I don't want to watch a rerun of #Cops. Very #annoying.

Cops had apparently come for a local bad boy during the rain delay, which means he might have something to confess to his mom:
King County on #Cops! What are the chances dude in the white shirt was watching the #Seahawks and is now like, 'MOM, THATS NOT ME. REALLY!'
— Joshua Dobner (@JPDobner) August 8, 2014
Some people were a little “confused” about what they were actually watching:
Why is Q13 playing reruns of the 49er recruitment videos? #bringbackthehawks #cops #makeyouthink #lmao

There was a lightening delay, so we're stuck watching a @49ers game. #cops #therealthugs #GOHAWKS pic.twitter.com/hCKiS3sRKE

And even though Marshawn Lynch wasn’t even in Denver last night, @lyngzayinman gets it right:
What Cha Gunna Do? What Cha Gunna Do When Lynch Comes For You? Bad Boys Bad Boys #GoHawks #COPS
