Marshawn

By Michael Simeona

He’s a Pro Bowl running back, a one-man Skittles promotion, a customized “grille” connoisseur, and now, a movie star.

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has signed on to play a role in a new movie being filmed in Seattle, according to King-TV. The movie, called “Matt’s Chance“, is about a mid-20s cowboy who was betrayed by his girlfriend, sending his life into a major downward spiral.

While Lynch’s role in the movie has not yet been revealed, his co-stars have plenty of experience in the movie business. Edward Furlong from Terminator 2, Point Break’s Gary Busey, and 6 Million Dollar Man, Lee Majors, all co-star in the movie, which began filming last Thursday.

The movie was written and directed by local filmmaker Nicholas Gyeney and is being produced by Nathan Riley of Mirror Images LTD. There is no word on when filming will be completed, nor when it will be released.

Surely, Marshawn Lynch, the actor, will give Hollywood a taste of Beast Mode.
