Video: San Diego's 2012 fireworks disaster

San Diego's fireworks show, The Big Bay Boom, is hailed as one of the grandest in the country and now it has won another title: The shortest.

A technical glitch caused all the fireworks to ignite at once. The show, which was supposed to be about 18 minutes long, lasted only 15 seconds.

On its website, Garden State Fireworks says it'll be working to determine what caused the glitch. It said that a signal was sent to each barge about five minutes before the show to set the timing. The company also said it conducted several tests leading up to the show.

Despite the brevity, now you know what it looks like when 'all the fireworks go off at once.'
