Female Air Force trainer sentenced in sex scandal

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A female training instructor at a Texas Air Force base has been ordered to serve three months in jail after pleading guilty to having sex with a male student.

A military judge in San Antonio on Thursday also ordered Staff Sgt. Emily Allen to do 30 days of hard labor and reduced her rank to airman first class.

Allen was the first woman among more than 30 instructors at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland charged in what has turned into the military branch's worst sex scandal.

She pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a male airman in 2011, seeking to have a sexual relationship with another male trainee plus having unprofessional social relationships with two female students.

    I don't get it:
There is something inherently wrong with rapists. It is not about sex it is about control and domination. These humans who commit rape have some deeply imbedded issues from their past. Commonly abused themselves in their earlier years. The signs that someone may be capable of attempting rape are evident in their look or lack of engaging another with eye to eye contact when in social interactions. They shuffle their feet and their eyes dart around to avoid contact with anyone. They live in their own dark world of frustration. Then the volcanoe errupts.

Yes we are constantly told that rapes are all about control and domination but I have yet to see concrete evidence proving that theory. And really what difference does it make if the impulse to rape is sexually driven or control driven?Where did you get the idea that those capable of rape are evident by them showing the lack of eye contact when in social interactions? Thats just silly talk. Many Asian people believe direct eye contact while meeting someone is rude behavior, other people are just plain shy. Please tell us if you also have ways of IDing gay people
