26 people feared dead in China bus, ship accidents

BEIJING (AP) - State news reports say 26 people are feared dead in a bus crash and ship sinking in China.

The official Xinhua News Agency says 13 domestic tourists were killed and 15 others injured when a bus ran off a road and plunged into a ravine in the southwestern province of Yunnan during a rainstorm on Monday.

Separately, it says rescuers are still searching for 13 people missing and feared dead after their container ship sank in the Bohai Gulf off the coast of northeastern China on Monday. It says only one of the ship's 14 crew members has been rescued.
