Man killed at Covington was beaten not shot

COVINGTON, Wash. (AP) - The King County sheriff's office says a man who was killed in an RV trailer Sunday evening in Covington was beaten, not shot as a 911 caller reported.

Deputies found the 46-year-old man dead in the trailer behind a home.

Detectives questioned four people and arrested a 26-year-old man for investigation of homicide.

The man and the victim were acquaintances. The circumstances leading up to the beating remain under investigation.
