Hoquiam homicides a murder-suicide

HOQUIAM, Wash. (AP) - The deaths of Hoquiam couple were ruled a murder-suicide.

The Grays Harbor County coroner's office says 53-year-old Mark Hinzman stabbed his 48-year-old wife Mary to death, and then stabbed himself in the chest.

The bodies were found Monday by their 24-year-old son who lives in the home.

Police said Friday that officers were called to the home Oct. 30 during a family argument but no arrests were made.

KBKW reports the sheriff's office received a report earlier that same day that Mark Hinzman was accused of a sex offense 12 to 15 years earlier.
