Woman arrested in Everett WA espresso robberies

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A judge has set bail at $200,000 for an 18-year-old woman charged in one Everett, Wash., espresso stand robbery and under investigation in two others.
The Daily Herald reports ( http://is.gd/T4JXVN) that McKenzie Tesch has been charged in the Nov. 20 robbery of the Bigfoot Espresso stand on Everett Mall Way.
Court papers say a barista told police that a woman with facial piercings handed her a note demanding money and claimed to have a gun. The assailant then pulled a large butcher knife from her jacket.
Deputy Prosecutor Kathy Jo Blake said during a Monday bail hearing that Tesch is under investigation in two robberies at Stiletto Espresso south of Everett.
Tesch was arrested Saturday evening. Police also seized a large knife.
Earlier this year, she pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault after a January confrontation with her boyfriend.
