Man seriously injured at Vancouver crash scene

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - A man was found with life-threatening injuries just before midnight Monday in Vancouver.

Officers found him in the street and a vehicle crashed into a fence.

Investigators say the 39-year-old was not driving or hit by the vehicle. They're still trying to determine how he suffered a significant head injury that has put him in a hospital

Police also say the incident does not appear to be gang-related, but the people involved likely know one another.
