MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - A second suspect is in jail accused in the stabbing death of an 82-year-old registered sex offender who lived in a travel trailer in Marysville.
Police say the 26-year-old man was already in jail on unrelated charges Monday when he was booked for investigation of murder, robbery and vehicle theft.
Police say the man and a 28-year-old woman killed Arthur Schroeder on Jan. 25, ransacked his residence and drove off in his pickup truck, which was later found burned.
Police Commander Robb Lamoureux (LAM'-or-oh) says investigators are looking for others involved in helping the killers and burning the truck.
The Daily Herald reported the woman, Delaney R. Wood, appeared in court Monday and had bail set at $1 million as she faces possible murder, robbery and vehicle theft charges.
