Eastern Washington beats Portland State 76-65

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) - Venky Jois had 20 points, 13 rebounds and five assists to lead Eastern Washington to a 76-65 win over Portland State Monday night.
Parker Kelly scored 17 points _ going 5 for 8 from 3-point range _ while Martin Seiferth had 13 points and Kevin Winford scored 12 as the Eagles (5-15, 3-7 Big Sky) ended a four-game losing streak.
Eastern Washington never trailed in the game. Its biggest lead was 15 points early in the second half,
Aaron Moore led the Vikings (5-12, 3-7) with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Michael Harthun scored 14 points and Gary Winston added 12 for Portland State, which has dropped four in a row and hasn't won on the road in 10 tries this season.
