LAKE TAPPS, Wash. (AP) - A couple who recently moved to the Pierce County community of Lake Tapps from Spokane got a shock when they met a real estate agent at the home to get their keys _ and discovered the rental moving van with all their possessions was no longer sitting outside.
KOMO-TV reports ( http://is.gd/WsLkNs) that Bonney Lake police think the van disappeared between the evening of Jan. 31 and 9 a.m. the next morning.
While the Penske van itself is bright yellow, the thieves may be surprised by the amount of pink inside. Barb Hartman sells Mary Kay products and KOMO says she had $10,000 worth of merchandise inside.
Terry and Barb Hartman say their furniture and the cosmetic merchandise can be replaced by insurance, but their photos and mementos are likely gone for good.
