Suspect in Seattle theft of $45,000 Rolex arrested

SEATTLE (AP) - Police have arrested a man suspected of taking a $45,000 Rolex watch from a downtown Seattle jewelry store.

A tip led detectives to arrest the man Wednesday night at a tent city in Shoreline.

Detectives are still looking for the watch.

Police say the man went into the Ben Bridge Jewelers store Jan. 18 and told employees he smelled fishy because he was a wealthy fisherman. Once he had the Rolex on his wrist he said "see ya" and ran off.
