Oregon women defeat Washington State 65-60

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Jordan Loera had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Jillian Alleyne contributed 15 points and 17 rebounds Sunday as Oregon defeated Washington State 65-60.

The Ducks (4-21, 2-11 Pac-12), who had lost six in a row, never trailed in the game and have both of their conference wins against the Cougars (10-15, 6-8). They beat Washington State 70-68 on Jan. 25 in Pullman, Wash., for Oregon's first sweep of the Cougars since 2008.

After the Cougars got within two points, Loera made two late free throws to seal the win. Ariel Thomas had 10 points, four steals and four assists.

Alleyne had 10 points and all 12 of her rebounds in the first half as Oregon built a 28-15 lead.

Lia Galdeira led Washington State with 19 points and Mariah Cooks scored 11.
