1-year-old falls out Vancouver apartment window

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - The Clark County sheriff's office says a 1-year-old boy was alert and crying after falling out a second-floor window Sunday afternoon at a Vancouver apartment.

The sheriff's office says the boy pushed against a window screen and it gave way. He landed on the ground below the window.

An ambulance took him to PeaceHealth hospital in Vancouver.
