Woman wounded near Pike Place Market; 2 arrested

SEATTLE (AP) - A woman was wounded in the arm after being struck by a bullet fired by two men arguing near the Pike Place Market in Seattle.
Seattle police say that a 23-year-old woman was walking with friends shortly after midnight Saturday when two men pulled out guns during a fight near them. The woman did not suffer life-threatening injuries. Police officers in the area heard the gun shot and rushed to the scene. The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Witnesses were able to describe the two men and officers tracked them down shortly. Both men, ages 18 and 21, were arrested and booked into King County Jail under investigation of assault, gun and drug charges.
