Man killed in Vancouver industrial accident

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - A Vancouver Fire Department spokesman says an employee of Thompson Metal Fab has been killed in an industrial accident.
Firefighter-paramedic Kevin Stromberg tells The Columbian ( http://is.gd/n7rue0) the man was crushed by a large piece of steel and died Friday afternoon before rescuers could arrive.
The man was not identified and additional information was not immediately available.
Thompson Metal Fab President John Rudi says the accident is under investigation.
