Moses Lake trooper is WSP's trooper of the year

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol says Trooper Tim Kron of Moses Lake is the patrol's 2012 state trooper of the year.

Kron was commissioned in 2004. He's a car seat technician who checks to make sure child seats are up to date and properly installed. Kron also is a field training officer who trains new troopers.
