Bremerton burglary ring targeted gun owners

BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Bremerton police say they have busted a car theft ring that targeted gun owners.

Police said Monday five men have been arrested, including one who is facing federal charges.

The Kitsap Sun reports ( http://bit.ly/10t8I8r) multiple agencies were involved in the investigation that began in October with a burglary in which the victims were members of the Navy who were deployed. A pistol and rifle were among the items taken.

Police say the suspects would trade stolen weapons to drug dealers for methamphetamine.
