WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - A mylar balloon is to blame for a power outage in downtown Wenatchee.
The Wenatchee World reports ( http://is.gd/0MeaJl) that the balloon drifted into power lines and caused a short just before noon Saturday.
The outage affected most of downtown as well as Memorial Park, where food vendors set up for the Apple Blossom Festival lost power.
Power was expected to be restored by Saturday afternoon.
