Man shot in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood

SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say a man was shot several times in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Police say calls came in around 3 a.m. reporting gunshots. When officers arrived they found a man wounded.

Witnesses directed officers to the direction where the suspect ran. Officers caught up with the man, who had a gun with him.

The wounded man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
