Wash. man arrested in college bomb threats

PASCO, Wash. (AP) - Police have arrested a Kennewick, Wash., man in connection with phoned-in bomb threats that shut down Columbia Basin College last week.

Steven Eugene Brown was arrested Wednesday at his home and booked into the Franklin County Jail for investigation of making threats to bomb.

The Tri-City Herald reports that multiple threats were called in on July 18. Both the Richland and Pasco campuses were shut down for the night while authorities searched for explosive devices. No explosives were found.
