YMCA camp near Gig Harbor remains closed

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A YMCA camp near Gig Harbor won't reopen until Sunday.

Officials had hoped to reopen Camp Syemor last Sunday, but too many staff members were still ill from an outbreak of nausea believed to be caused by a norovirus.

The News Tribune reports ( http://bit.ly/13K5s9B) the Key Peninsula camp closed Thursday and two cleanup companies were hired to scrub camp buildings with bleach.
