Man drowns in Quincy LakesAugust 19, 2013 @ 10:54 am
QUINCY, Wash. (AP) - The Grant County coroner's office says 75-year-old Wilbert O'Neel of Quincy drowned Sunday at Quincy Lakes.
The sheriff's office says bystanders heard him yell for help Sunday afternoon in the Evergreen Reservoir portion of the lakes, about seven miles southwest of Quincy.
The Wenatchee World reports ( http://bit.ly/152cavn) by the time they arrived he had sunk out of sight. Sheriff's divers later found the body.
