6 people injured in truck, bus, cars crash on I-5August 29, 2013 @ 1:35 pm
SEATTLE (AP) - Authorities say a semi-truck, a charter bus and two cars crashed on Interstate 5 in Seattle on Thursday, leaving half a dozen people injured.
The Seattle fire department says six people were taken to Harborview Medical Center, with one bus passenger in critical condition. Some of the people seriously injured were reporting neck and back pain. The driver of the semi-truck was in serious condition.
The crashed happened where Interstate 5 and the West Seattle bridge merge. The roads were wet after heavy showers. The semi-truck did not have a trailer attached to it.
Washington state Patrol Trooper Chris Webb says the crash has blocked two lanes on I-5, snarling traffic through the afternoon.
